ATAR Estimator (Approximate)

Estimate your ATAR aggregate from scaled study scores using the VCE-style rule. Unofficial approximation; ATARs are set by your state's tertiary admissions centre.

Start calculating

Enter scaled study scores (VCE-style, max ~50+). English first.

—

Unofficial and approximate. In Victoria the aggregate is your best English scaled score plus your next best three scaled scores, plus 10% of any fifth and sixth. The aggregate is then converted to an ATAR by rank, which changes every year, so we show the aggregate rather than invent an ATAR. Other states (NSW, QLD, SA/NT, WA) use different rules. Your official ATAR comes from VTAC, UAC, QTAC, SATAC or TISC.
